Trees Are Blooming

Wanted to catch this moment to talk about all the flowering trees we have that excel in this region. The dogwood is an under-story tree that loves shady environments – June Snow is a fantastic cultivar!

The redbuds are native to this area and love our clay soil so they are a great solution for a low-maintenance, smaller tree – our friend, David Bartlett with Bartlett Hauber Landscaping recommends the “Appalacian Redbud” for better branching structure and brighter color.

Feels like we have wasted 20 yrs of opportunities with the crabapple – thinking they were short-lived but here we are 20 years later and they are still blooming and looking perfect!

We are fully recommending them again.
